webCRM is a low cost cloud based CRM with a much simpler set of features than many of its competitors. This is a deliberate policy on the part of the developers as their product is intended to be uncomplicated and user friendly.
For *£18 per user, per month, it offers contacts and activity management; sales, pipeline, opportunities and budgets, deliveries, products and time-sheets, a customer support module and an easy to configure and adapt interface.
A business can get a quick overview of all dialogue with a customer; multiple users are able to update the customer?s log and automated reminders ensure a timely follow up on enquiries.
The sales function will keep track of the sales pipeline, forecasted sales, order dates and their projected success, and measure that against budgets that the business has set.
The interface includes a dashboard capable of displaying customisable charts, as well as keeping track of important changes to data.
Businesses also have the option of applying their company logo and colourscheme to the software. In addition, webCRM includes a group calendar, surveys and event management, along with punch cards and time reporting.
Users are able to send mass marketing emails and SMS text messages, store libraries of marketing documents, create email, PDF and word templates and sync data with Outlook, Exchange and Gmail.
A plug-in is required to integrate with Outlook, but once installed this can synchronise email, contacts, tasks and meetings.
The Exchange integration includes synchronisation of appointments, contacts, activities and mails across both PC and Mac.
The Google integration allows the user to synchronise meetings and contacts with their Gmail accounts.

The data reporting function allows users to retrieve information without having to get to grips with complex reporting tools, and results can be displayed onscreen or downloaded to Excel.
Custom fields such as text, dropdown, checkbox and more can be added quite easily and over 250 are available.
webCRM also features a Cockpit where multiple webCRM systems can be maintained at once and consolidated into one. Users can also easily integrate webCRM with their websites, although this will require an additional plugin.
However, the free API means that businesses are also free to develop their own plugins.
webCRM is available in 12 languages, and has a dedicated support system, where businesses can call or email the support team, or use the integrated support function to contact their relationship manager directly.
Free webinars are offered to assist with training, and each function has detailed PDF documents explaining how to set them up and use them.

webCRM received a 92 per cent positive response to their service from their customers, and the full results are available on their website, broken down into the key benefits of the service, user friendliness and how satisfied they were with the support service and the product overall.
In addition, webCRM was awarded 9/10 by the website Getapp, which praised its simple interface and its ability to integrate with websites, Excel and email programs such as Outlook, as well as its scalability.
The only criticism they had was the company's somewhat slow response to help messages.
Getapp recommended this product for small businesses with up to 250 staff, and praised it as an "excellent" service featuring everything they might need for streamlining their sales and marketing functions.
